A Winter Scene

(All Prices in Canadian Dollars)

I wasn’t always a big fan of winter until I moved to Canada. I had to dig deep to accustom to the long winters and colder temperatures that can sometimes take up half the year. The North Okanagan in the central part of British Columbia, Canada, is a remote region surrounded by mountains, countless lakes, and an abundance of natural beauty that never gets old. The winter months offer me the time to pour myself into my art, and I get the most inspiration from the warmth of our wood stove. But one can’t be staying indoors forever. Our daily outings make us feel alive during the colder winter months.

This print captures the emotion of a perfect winter scene: the short days bathed in a bluish light, the crisp cold air, and a dusting of fresh snow blanketing the woods in all-encompassing silence.

Winter is a time of cocooning but also a time of rejuvenation. Arriving at a cabin nestled deep in the woods to relax and unwind by the crackling fire with a warm cup of cocoa. We dream of perfect days and when they happen. So let it snow, let it snow!
